Are there voice capture scams going on over phones? Got weirdest phone call. “hello, how may i help you” I answer.
Confused woman “hello?” Then get that switching to a call room noise of big space and a suspicious not quite human voice, “Can you share who I’m speaking with?”
“Can you share who you are?” I reply. Line is dead sounding.
Room noise cuts back in “are you a bot?” Noise cuts out.
“You called me.” I reply.
Noise cuts back in. “Are you a bot?” Same tone same speed.
I hung up.

yes, there are voice capture scams going on. i read about it recently. now with AI involved.
another reason i don't answer unknown numbers. if it's legit, leave a message and i'll respond later.😑
