@TrueBloodNet Yeah, but sadly strays are left to their own devices. There's too many for them to be adopted out to families so there's not much they can do, and I dislike the idea of them being euthanized. Generally the strays weren't too bad cause they'd hunt mice and such since we're somewhat close to the edge of town, but this one went for the bird unfortunately
I am sad. Earlier I saw that a local stray cat hunted and managed to catch and kill one of the blue jays that live in a tree in my front yard. His mate came back to the tree shortly after the cat left with him >:( I like cats but damn, those birds were in that tree for years. Another male was in another tree chirping at the cat as well. RIP pretty bird. You'll be missed.
@Beanc I like to imagine that the birds decide "aight time to sleep then!" Then moments later when the sun suddenly reappears they all collectively chirp out in annoyance at being woken up.
Here's a rough little thing I did a couple days ago. There's a story that goes with this, but the character limit prevents me from writing it out here :(
@CynfulArts We need more bats!
@raspberrypanda snailien!
@CynfulArts Yo nice. Glad to see some activity in the #anthro tag
@PaganMother Sadly it really does seem there's always a shortage. Got my own stuff with gov programs, and it takes so incredibly long due to lack of case workers. I'm hoping things go well for ya
@PaganMother Hopefully it gets sorted quickly! It amazes me that they seem to have the manpower to cut off things, but not enough to process the stuff you already had submitted. It's not really the fault of the regular workers, they're doing the best they can, but those in charge really need to increase the number of people they have on hand to do these things.
Huh nice feature @th3j35t3r
The canary thing.
