Today's technology is amazing. My daughter lives 3320 miles away (5343 Kilometers) in a remote Alaska town. Today was there high school graduation. She is a teacher there and these are her kids. The ceremony was live and one of the speeches was from a former teacher. He was asked to write something to inspire the graduates. He told them how to be the best person they could be and at the end he told them they had the best source of inspiration right there with them. My daughter! I cried....

I had an interesting day. I stopped in at the local senior center to renew my membership. When the pandemic hit last year I stopped going but in 10 days I get my second vaccine. While I was renewing the center's manager asked me to step into his office. He offered me the chance to teach a photography class there. Seems it was being discussed last fall. The man who recommended me was the local town photographer. He was a friend of mine. He passed away from Covid last December. I said yes.
