@gemswinc l'm not big into fall, the garden dying back in particular always seems sad, shortened daylight is really hard for me too
But this year the cooler days are something l'm really looking forward too and coloured leaves!
@KarenSohne I understand. I embrace the nostalgia as I remove/cut back, this or that, and the dying vegetation says Halloween, my favorite holiday.
I'm glad cooler days and colors have you looking forward. I'm more a fan of darkness, than blazing sun, but losing the light is an adjustment. Each season has it's charms. I wish you a miraculous Autumn.
@KarenSohne Beautifully displayed on the fabric!
@KarenSohne I can see why!
@gemswinc a maybe later fall project, to get some fabric for another table cloth that l like as well! I can finally make a round one to actually fit the table😳🤣
@KarenSohne Oh goodness, you sew 🧵 I left off long ago
@gemswinc My sister was an occupational therapist. One of the things she learned diring her training was how sewing/ knitting/ crocheting are good for releasing aggresive feelings/stress. I was surprised at the time, but all these years layer, l must agree. Stabbing fabric repeatedly does bring some calm, don't think machine sewing would have the same effect for me🙄🤷🏼♀️
@KarenSohne @gemswinc Not for me. I knit/crochet/ weave and needle punch. Now. hitting and kicking a standing punching bag let's me pretend I'm beating the crap outta people. It's fun, too.
@KarenSohne Would keep you cheerful!
@gemswinc lt's my favourite tablecloth!
