Some irony: In the winter I often drive out of my way to the one open vegetable market, to buy berries without plastic. The last time I did, I was offered plastic containers for transfer 🙄

Of course, the other alternative is, don't eat berries in the winter.. I do minimize

Drives me batty. Berries can be transported nicely in cardboard containers. I can’t give them up. Berries are important part of my healthcare.

@LnzyHou Yes, the real place to cut down on plastic is production. As for berries I am the same. Still, it is a luxury

Years ago I shopped at small natural food store that let you bring your own containers. I don’t know why that is not done today.
