I'm old enough to remember a time when politicians had to campaign on actual ideas and policies.
And voters had to listen to them to determine which politician most closely aligned with what they wanted.

Thwarted another runaway attempt by ND kiddo.
He had slipped and hurt himself and in his mind that meant he had to leave and go away :(
Trying to remain calm and redirect in those moments can be so hard. But I'm getting better at it.
We have ended on a good note though with giggles and fun. He said "I love you Mum" before hopping into bed and so I hop into bed happy and feeling blessed.
Thank you for your kind words, #friends. Truly appreciated. It isn't anything major, but the exasperation from my Manager was clear.
I've finished for the day now, and I have been lying on my bed in a mood. Isis has decided to get as close as she can with me, I'd like to think she can sense the mood and is providing comfort.
Made a bunch of mistakes at work today so my mood has plummeted. Not much I can do about it, I've apologised and need to move on. But my brain is going to make me stew on it for the rest of my life.
