I have a good source that Traffic light supply is about 10 months behind.

A needed rain band is approaching. Great, except that early this morning a major intersection in Mt. Home was forced into becoming a 4-way stop until further notice.

Heaven knows there's too many in the Twin Lakes area whose driving skills suck even in good conditions. And this on the last day of the Baxter County Fair, to boot. Good luck, dear townies!

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
"Dissents speak to a future age. It's not simply to say, 'My colleagues are wrong, and I would do it this way.' But the greatest dissents do become court opinions, and gradually over time, their views become the dominant view. So that's the dissenter's hope: that they are writing not for today but for tomorrow." - Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Many security news stories' bark isn't as bad as their bite. That's not the case with the data breach. It's Bad. Here's what you can do.

Appliance shopping day! Son and I have our sights set on a chest freezer that's currently on sale at Lowe's. Hoping they'll waive a delivery fee, considering we're happy to pay $50 to haul out the previous tenants' nasty, old, failing fridge.

Yes, tenants are responsible for providing and maintaining their own appliances, so we brought our new fridge over from our old unit last Labor Day.

New versions of the Covid vaccine are coming by Labor Day... Put it on your calendars!

Yes, privately I've been a bit of a mess lately. Thought the 2nd anniversary was a few days from now. Makes sense, considering I didn't know until a couple of days later.

Six weeks ago I told my PCP that my right shoulder was borked. What little range of motion it had was increasingly painful, and basic living activities were greatly impaired. X-rays of the shoulder indicated rotor cuff damage.

Today, I finally told doc that my neck isn't being cooperative either. C spine X-rays show damage at C6 & C7. I'm being referred to an Ortho surgeon for evaluation.

Ngl, if surgery becomes the plan, I'm more scared of post-op pain management than I am of getting cut.

Well, as some here might know, I live with spinal damage in my lower back. It was confirmed in 2007 via MRI. This was slightly over a month before my family was rear-ended by two vehicles. My late ex and I were both badly injured when the impact threw us straight up to the ceiling of our minivan, then slammed back down into our seats. Thank goodness our boys weren't hurt.

I hadn't had any further accident related imaging since 2007, but have long suspected more damage. It's now confirmed.
