It's 4p.m. and 54°F on this pleasant and relatively peaceful Monday. The temperature will dip soon, now that the sun is sinking below the treeline. That's fine by me- I'm a fan of hoodie weather. No heat advisory today, but this glorified Easy-Bake Oven already feels icky. Coffee will have to wait. Time now to get a peaceful cool shower before taking 22 to work. Bingo! The two largest demographics in #TheOzarks Twin Lakes area are fixed income retirees and economically strapped blue collar/agricultural families. Putting a TJ's out here would definitely not sit well with us locals.

Early voting began yesterday on a 2nd run of the MHPS attempt at passing what would be an economically disastrous millage increase for a majority of residents, and subsequently, many small businesses. Tensions are running high and compounded by recent bomb threats to area grocery stores. Add to this the annual influx of mayhem brought by pro fishers for a high profile tournament.
