Household adjustments are being made to make son's life a little easier. Given that my gentle giant will be wearing a back brace for a few months, even minor bending to lift the toilet lid was a hardship. Lid stays down to protect Diego the Cat from misadventure.

Attended a local friend's 40th celebration and happily discovered that "Capture the Flag" is still going strong. This aging banner is from my 1st Ozarks hg in West Plains, MO. It was a 2 hour round-trip to attend meetings/events. Good times. 💖

Meanwhile in #TheOzarks, the Twin Lakes area Corp of Engineers has been scrambling to be prepared as possible for the inevitable influx of Eclipse tourists. At present, all state operated campgrounds are booked solid for the event.

Yours truly is opting to fall back on decades' worth of blizzard and hurricane experience: stock up, hunker down, and shelter in place. Screw the idiot convention. Pandemic gentrification already borked the balance years ago
