Well, my most disappointing #potato moment was when I recently realized that despite their fresh prepared nature, In and Out fries are really not very good.

Well this will (hopefully) be the 5th day of 2023 in which all of our utilities are working properly: The storms caused all kinds of havoc. electric and internet out, pilots on the heater water heater blew out etc. But it's not over, now to pursue how to get the family room carpet replaced and whatever else needs to be done for it. I think/hope it was just the rains overwhelming the gutter right in front of the slider doors but not 100% certain there isn't more wrong there.

Power back on after going partially out New Yearβs Eve and totally out New Years Day evening. So relieved major appliances appear to be OK. That we were in the middle of a major storm wasnβt enough, our immediate area was actually taken out but idiots celebrating with semi automatic weapons fire. Not cute at all!
#politics waiting to hear these GOP fools challenge their own speaker election results. sorta hoping whoever they nominate gets charged with sedition within the next few months, only in a sarcastic kinda way, would actually rather see an effective congress with progress or at least harm reduction for all americans.
2023 so far: 3 stars...can't recommend, hopefully room to improve... No power since 4 min after midnight new years eve due to jackalopes firing automatic weapons. PG and E not planning repair til maybe this evening busy with larger outages caused by huge new year's eve storm. street flooding around town. Lots of old oaks in the hood toppled. But wife, cats and i are safe. We have heat due to gas wall heaters. Made it to work today. We will move forward....
