A positive motivation for the next 4 years.
I concur.
Tie them all together.

@Maude

Names must be used. Only those of great evil (the Devil, He Who Shall Not Be Named) or those of great good (God)’are given monickers. They represent power so vast that one cannot mention their name or to use their name is blasphemy.

Although she means well, I refuse to follow this advice

MLK Jr. called out the great evils of his time, from racism to capitalism.

Ignoring them did no one any good.

@feloneouscat @Maude This isn’t about the scope (or perceived scope) of his power, it’s about his ego. He’s so vain, he has to see his name plastered everywhere. It’s about notoriety and attention, he wants everyone to be talking about him. I think she’s right, deny him his name drop, ascribe everything to The Republicans, and simultaneously rob his ego of the attention he craves while forcing the party to own the horrors they’re enabling.

Perhaps. However he was more upset by being ridiculed; by being called “weird.”

He was obsessed to the point that he went to great pains to argue he was NOT weird. True he likes to see his name dropped, but hates it when it is in the form of ridicule. That’s why he hates SNL.

Ridicule is Trump’s kryptonite, because he is, at his heart, a child who wants validation as being stronger and better. Ridicule tells everyone he is that weak and stupid child.

@feloneouscat @Maude Agreed - it’s another symptom of his vanity and delicate ego. We can take a multi-angle approach to resistance 😊
