Unlike businesses, government has a SHIT TON of ethics rules, rules governing actions and review of said actions. There are even (SHOCK) audits that DO NOT HAPPEN in the private sector (unless you are ISO 9000 etc).
What WSJ thinks, and is totally wrong, is that government is run like a business.
It is not.
Businesses have a LOT of leeway. Small businesses can do what they damn well please on a day-to-day basis.
This idea that Gov is mercurial is ignorant and shows how stupid the WSJ is.
