A vote for Trump means more taxes.

What?

“Elon Musk, the world's richest man, said that if Donald Trump wins and gives him a role in government, Americans will suffer "hardship," as a result of efforts to address the national debt. He made the comments in a virtual town hall on his website, X, on Friday.”

"Obviously, a lot of people who are taking advantage of government are going to be upset about that.”

Musk forgets that’s how he makes his money.

What Musk is REALLY talking about is Social Security.

Trump and many rich Republicans want to eliminate Social Security because reasons. They don’t care that it keeps people housed and fed.

They are cruel.

“And here’s the scandal: If implemented, Trump’s economic proposals could bankrupt this vital, popular program within six years.”

Yeah, and he wants to give the money to: billionaires.

@feloneouscat it also helps disabled people and others who use it. what a bunch of assholes to think to end it.

@feloneouscat The government has "borrowed" billions of dollars from Social Security over the years and has never paid it back.

@Charles_Hawtrey

I’m not sure how or why this myth was started:

“ As with all Treasury bonds, the federal government can spend the proceeds on a variety of programs. But as with all bondholders, Treasury has to pay the money back, with interest. Social Security redeems the securities to pay benefits.”

Bottom line: it is always paid back. Nothing hinky is going on.
