Fact: Less than 40% of Texans are white.
How many of those “undocumented immigrants” will turn out to be Americans?
This violates the Constitution.
In the same way “stop and frisk” was held to be unconstitutional this is a race-based law aimed at people with brown skin.

Again, aimed strictly at brown people. Did I mention that whites make up less than 40% of the population?

Ports of entry is where most drugs are seized.

Whatcha wanna bet many of those are white people? But these laws are aimed squarely at the people WHO RARELY smuggle drugs.

I may be a lot of things, but at least I’m not an ignorant racist like Abbott and the right wing Texas legislature!
This political posturing will do NOTHING to help Texas. It will cause human suffering and will have Texas arguing that good Americans are undocumented immigrants.
These are racist and disgusting laws.
Everything about them violates constitutional law, human rights and does NOTHING that the writers of them says they will do.
They are a waste of time and money.
I know it takes time and effort to research facts, but I did this all in the space of 20 minutes.
This isn’t rocket science, it’s relying on information instead of racism and “right wing guts” — which are invariably wrong and racist.
If I can do this, Governor and our legislators can too.
But they can’t and they won’t. This has to do with an agenda to spread hate at a state government level. To make racism part of our laws.
The only way to prevent it is to vote Republicans out.
They do nothing but spread hate.
If we want to stop them from making our country into racist fiefdoms we need to ALL VOTE AND VOTE BLUE.
Seriously, this will be a change for the better.
Remember, TODAY, the Republican Party want to nominate a rapist as their candidate for President.
