No, I don’t see this furthering the business of We the People. Will any laws be crafted or funding be drafted?
No.
We pay the people in Congress to work, not to play hooky, I don’t see it anything other than a waste of taxpayer time and money.
What next? Investigation of Big Foot? Maybe a trip to Egypt to check out if the pyramids were made by aliens?
@feloneouscat I don't think any body at this stage can say what definitely will or will not come out of this situation.
Never heard any military or civilian pilots complain that they felt Big Foot or pyramids in Egypt pose an occupational threat to them.
UFOs exist, there's no question about that, their nature, however isn't certain. UFO is often equated with ETs, but UFO does not necessarily mean alien, it could be the tech of a foreign nation, or something we ourselves are developing
It’s pure rubbish.
It. Does. Not. Matter.
They are wasting time and money on something that doesn’t matter one iota.
There will be no laws or budgets altered because if this. Something that makes no difference IS no difference.
This is a waste of time and money.
Let me put it bluntly: even if some hopped up Republican wrote a law for the UFOs to “stop endangering pilots” how do we enforce it? We cannot.
This is theater. It is has ZERO to do with leadership of governance.
Whether they exist of not is speculation. They certainly are not affected by us.
Congress is wasting time and money on something that cannot be affected. They may as well argue about the rotation of the planet or distant quasars (both which are provable and don’t rely on humans making some assumptions).
@feloneouscat It's not really about passing laws trying to enforce regulations on UFOs. What both Democrats and Republicans are pushing for on this issue is greater transparency from the government holding the DoD to stricter fiscal responsibility, as well opening channels for people to make reports to congress and the public, without being harassed and stigmatized.
@feloneouscat too early to call it one way or the other.
