“Across the United States, customers can book sessions at a smash rooms and pay anything from dozens to hundreds of dollars to smash dishes, furniture and — most of all — printers.”
Oh. I’ve been doing wrong at home for free.
But seriously, is this a thing? If so, what’s the gender breakdown? Mostly men?
Very curious.
@feloneouscat When the carnival came to town there were local vendors, too. One fixture was a fundraiser (for what I forget): they’d take a junk car; paint half Alabama crimson & white, half Auburn orange & blue.
Guys paid $ for 3 mins w a sledgehammer to bash the car. It was a teenage boy rite of passage
@feloneouscat back in the 90’s, I had a boyfriend who lived in a Quonset hut partially filled with studios (all his close friends). We had numerous smash parties pushing stuff from the upstairs balcony.
I married him 😁 (25 yrs this month).
