Yes, yes, “I’m shocked, shocked there is gambling going on in here”… Look, they knew they weren’t going to like the deal. But they had to vote for it because a default would have been worse (A REPUBLICAN DEFAULT no less) and that would not have played out well in 2024.
They can bitch all they want, but they signed off on it.
