So, again the courts make decisions about my body. Never mind that viagra threatens to make men blind which is a LITTLE MORE worrisome. If any drug should be pulled it is this one.
The judiciary doesn’t respect the democratically controlled Executive, either.
Judges are not doctors. This is like asking ChatGPT for a ruling.

There is so much WRONG in this ruling.
• It creates burdens on women and specifically says women NEED to see a doctor three times with no proof.
• It removes mail order which is ridiculous. Does this set up women to be jailed for violating this?
• It argues that the judiciary is not co-equal but superior to the Executive. This is a blatant power grab.
• It literally says the FDA is incapable of making health decisions. This is problematic for ALL drugs that used the same protocols.
The pharmeceutical industry has got some things to say about these attempts to ban/limit abortion meds by court order.
Considering how ruthless their lobbying can be, it grinds me to admit that I'm glad their on "our" side for once, even if their reason for being in this position is the threat to their bottom line.
"The Anti-Abortion Movement Just Made a Powerful New Enemy"
@Tarnagh @feloneouscat Eli Lilly has been funding right-wing Repugnikans for years, including some Jan. 6 insurrectionists. They said they would stop this funding; they lied, and went ahead and continued this funding. I would live to see tehir management called out on the carpet on this.
@Tarnagh @feloneouscat I'm really glad to be , it's horrifying to think that some right wing nutcase could decide they object to any medication and if they got a case before the right kind of judge and we'd never have another vaccination of any kind.
@feloneouscat This is such fucking bullshit.. how the hell is a person supposed to fit three in-person visits with a OB-GYN within a space of one to three weeks (assuming they knew they were pregnant before week 7)????
It’s a nonsensical ruling made to make getting a medication abortion MORE difficult.
The courts have gone rogue.
They need to be reigned in.
Or we won’t have a democracy left.
“That means mifepristone will remain on the market, but approved only for use up to seven weeks of pregnancy, versus 10 weeks, and it cannot be prescribed by telehealth or mailed. Patients have to attend three, in-person doctors visits to obtain the medication, per the approval, although providers could potentially side-step that by prescribing the drug off-label. The Biden administration lifted the in-person dispensing requirement late last year in an effort to expand access.”
Huh?
