We dispensed with the Moultrie and decided to go with the GardePro A3.
Pros:
o More pictures of wildlife
o Few pictures of swaying trees
Cons:
o Image quality varies from second to second
o Because of the way outer cover are designed, you have to unplug it live.
o Feels less sturdy
Since we have to document wildlife, not swaying trees, this is way better than the Moultrie. It also has three sensors so we have been able to capture images of more deer, coyotes and other wildlife!
One issue I have with Moultrie is the plastic would degrade quickly (year to two years). Engineers may have assumed that people wouldn’t mount these in direct sunlight (Texas — literally everywhere is direct sunlight 😂 ) — we shall see how GardePro lasts.
