Then there is this:
“Two generals who oversaw U.S. supply routes through corruption-plagued Azerbaijan sought to profit from their connections once they retired. An Air Force lawyer objected. The Post sued to make the case public.”
Corruption in the military. We need to root it out.
@Rupiefied2020 That would be part of the rooting out of these corrupt people.
We need to deny them pensions. I would argue the restoration of Oliver North’s pension was the point they all realized that they could do as they please.
@feloneouscat that was in the 80s I was to young to remember
But operation Mindcrime came out in the 80s by Queensryche chills.....
@Rupiefied2020 Today, it seems positively quaint: “ Attorney General Edwin Meese discovered that only $12 million of the $30 million the Iranians reportedly paid had reached government coffers. Then-unknown Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North of the National Security Council explained the discrepancy: he had been diverting funds from the arms sales to the Contras, with the full knowledge of National Security Adviser Admiral John Poindexter”

@Rupiefied2020 Here’s what you missed. I know it seems tame compared to an ex-President committing espionage.
Things were simpler and we didn’t have internet.
@feloneouscat like Mike and Charles Flynn Flynn who was in charge of troops in DC
Just saying
