ALEC, or The American Legislative Exchange Council, is -- plain and simple -- a right-wing bill mill. It is the power behind all the anti-abortion bills and anti-LGBTQ+ bills that have been passed in red states.
This is not a new entity. They were also the power behind all of the Stand Your Ground laws.
