Thank goodness we have COSO and J running this ship. I can't imagine being anywhere else on a day like today.

On November 17 we will celebrate COSO's 7th birthday.

Those of us who can, help @th3j35t3r with the expenses to keep COSO afloat. Now more than ever, it seems important to do so. Several times in the past we have funded it 100% in this month. Can we do that again?

Please consider the ways to help fund COSO and especially November at 100%.

Here's how:

Boy am I glad I joined ! One week in and I'm loving my new home. I didn't make the decision lightly either I examined all the alternatives before making my decision. I was so impressed I donated right away and will continue to do so. Thank you everyone for being so welcoming even though I'm an old weirdo.โค๏ธ

A message to those asking โ€œwhat do I do now?โ€

A lot of people feel like theyโ€™ve just finished running a marathon only to cross what they thought was the finish line and discover a whole other marathon stretched out in front of them. Oh and guess what, this oneโ€™s all uphill. How do you even summon the energy to start running in that scenario?

A Lighthouse for Dark Times
The world would not exist without these discomposing transitions, during which everything seems to be falling apart [..]. And yet here it is, solid beneath our living feet โ€” feet that carry value systems, systems of sanity, just as vulnerable to the upheavals of phase transition yet just as resilient, saved too by the irrepressible creative force that makes order, makes beauty, makes a new and stronger structure of possibility out of the chaos

One of my favorite saying is โ€œlife will teach them.โ€

This cuts both ways.

Life has taught me a lotโ€”more in recent days than I wanted

But it will teach others, too.

Watch and tend to your garden.

For my part, I have learned of the vulnerability of peoplesโ€™ mindsโ€”their proclivity and willingness to embrace a lie. God willing, I will not cease to learn.

I know rationally that God does not punish certain people with natural disasters, but canโ€™t we get one hurricane which would directly hit Mar-a-Lago?
