Love it 😆
smart and right on target 🤣
I hope he’s outta a job soon!
Hi, we’re fine although I’m having too much pre-election freak-out.
Lamby is terrific, ruling the house, surveying his domaine-:)
How are you?
ok, ty,
hard to keep politics out of my brain...trying to stay busy and filter out the crazy times.
Will finish reading a book, and looking for another one
Ha, ha, Lamby's rule.. sounds like a movie title :-)
We’ve pretty much given up the pretense that life revolves around anyone other than Lamby. 😁
😍 Grateful for all the dogs, they truly help us navigate these times, be they in person - lol - or online
If you find a really great book, let me know.
Love and other thought experiments- I liked it, although I w'd have to re-read, bcz I rushed through.
Right now- Elena Ferrante's -The lying life of adults-
How are you enjoying it? I loved her Neapolitan trilogy, especially “My Brilliant Friend.” She has such a unique voice.
She has a unique voice, indeed. I enjoy this book. It's her same unmistakable voice, speaking through a teen character. She creates this amazing atmosphere, rich, innocent, intelligent. It's a smooth read.
It’s gotta go on my must read list.
One of the better books I’ve read lately is “Educated, a Memoir” by Tara Westover. It’s the memoir of a girl who grew up in Mormon survivalist family and was homeschooled but somehow was able to escape her fate and ended up getting her PhD at Oxford.
To say the book is harrowing is an understatement, but to say too much more is to give too much away.
I generally prefer fiction, but I really enjoyed this book.
That sounds like an amazing life trajectory. I find it interesting to understand what makes people switch something, anything, in their lives.
Well, you perfectly said just enough to make me curious :-)
And, with that, wishing you a very Good Night, and peaceful dreams 🥂
So this is why I had such a good, relaxing sleep. 😍 Thank you 😍
@evamarie
How are you? and Lamby? 😃
