A team of Dutch scientists has taken on the grueling task of designing the perfect piece of chocolate, using novel 3D printing techniques to create designs that shatter in the most pleasurable way when bitten. Clearly, extensive testing is required. https://newatlas.com/3d-printing/chocolate-structure-mouthfeel/
@estherschindler What do you want to bet the structure is a honeycomb?
Thinking about a Cadbury Flake bar as I type this. It’s not honeycomb but has a distinctive shattering effect.
@estherschindler
Not only do they have to find the perfect shape, but crispy, shattering chocolate also requires the perfect 'tempering'. These scientists are going to have type 2 diabetes with all that "testing" 🤣
@estherschindler science will save mankind... or kill us all
