@mcfate Like so many other forms of social media, you can control what you see on Facebook -- or at least who you see there.
Nearly all of my experiences are positive ones. It's how I stay connected with people I love. I am still connected with some people whose opinions I disagree with, both respectfully and otherwise (I grit my teeth). But social media is radio. Tune into the the stations that play the music you like.
Also, one other point of that quote is that, if you're hoping to run into Yogi Berra, you won't be doing it at that restaurant.

If I had to go to a Nazi beer hall to meet my friends, I'd either find a different place or find different friends.
Luckily, this sort of thing isn't a vast concern to me.
