@bluesbaby The library has pickup only (which is fine) but between 8-10am. I'm never organized enough to leave the house that early.
Instead I've been buying used books, which at least are cheaper.
I soon need to buy new shelves though. And a new house with more room for bookshelves.
I love shopping for used books but can't now. My last move meant getting rid of shelves and shelves of fiction. I'm pretty much 100% ebook now, thus I can still borrow and socially distance. 📖

Thriftbooks.com is my preferred currently, since they have a rewards program, good prices, used books, and are definitively Not Amazon.
As a dyed-in-the-wool #bibliophile, I approve of this.

Well, about to reread David Wong's #JohnDiesAtTheEnd & #ThisBookIsFullOfSpiders, just because they're fun reads (escapism); also his #book #ZoeyPunchesTheFutureInTheDick (as I haven't read that one yet), along with a reread of Iamblichus's #OnTheMysteries (Thomas Taylor translation).
I really want to reread Austen's #PrideAndPrejudice, though may have to repurchase a hard copy, as...I'm having problems getting into it on my Kindle ☹️

some books lend themselves well to quick reading, others lend themselves well to a glacial pace.
