Seems like even the big brains at Reddit's techie groups don't really have a great handle on what BlueSky is really about. Like it's just a glorified ActivityPub/Mastodon but "blah blah blockchain." Gen Z gets most of their news from alternative, non-MSM-propagandist sources. Figures like Greta Thunberg and David Hogg are painfully aware of what needs to be done; their biggest obstacle is that the middle class is so propagandized by the mainstream media that commonsensical ideas seem like windmill chasing. They think all this constant abuse and neglect of working people is normal.

Pretty sure I found a level 2 bug on this app. I tried to post something last night (and today) where there were at least 4 or 5 sets of short phrases enclosed in double-quotes. I hit "Post" and it didn't do anything, just shifted the frame up or down a little, no errorhandling or anything. I mistook it for server overload. I replaced the double quotes with single quotes and it posted normally.

@CathSterner - I think the dude is trying to get attention. I wouldn't be surprised if Jack and Musk did some sort of app together; after all Jack does still have that stake in it. I just don't get the point of letting the 4channers turn it into a smoking crater without having some sort of AI blocking all the racist stuff, nor the point of a "social media protocol." Prolly be something like when 4G was actually just glorified 3G but got all kinds of press. We're in an era of max bs.

The more I look, the more I think that the writer had a few huffs off a can of Strip-EZ when he was a kid. He's made a couple of predictions for which I'm too lazy to google right now, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he fell into one of George Carlin's '3 Possible Explanations':

A) He knows some big words, so he's not stupid, which leaves either:

B) He's fulla shit);

or (more likely),

C) He's f--kin crazy.
