@Graci We don't always stick to it, but I like that it helps make sure I have all of the stuff on hand for at least 6 dinners.
@ekg1976 Definitely do this. We were ordering our groceries online long before the pandemic, (it gets VERY cold in Calgary in the winter), so even a rough weekly menu helps me figure out what to put in our weekly grocery order.

I'm not a planner in any way, shape or form. I love living spontaneously, but every once in a while I envy people like you, especially when it comes to cooking meals.
I am lazy, which sounds odd, but I prefer to only have to make the decisions once and then I don't have to think about it again. Plus, we like to buy things like meat when it's on sale so having the menu helps me know what to defrost and when.
@ekg1976 definitely, for the same reasons as you are saying and decision making after a long day is no fun…sometimes I mix it up though, especially if no one will help me make the menu on my little chalkboard so I will add broiled opossum just to see if they are paying attention 😂
