I don't care what anyone says
These days unless you're actually there, in a place, to witness something is actually happening or you actually know the person telling the story and know that person is trustworthy
Then you can't say it happened as well as can't say it didn't happen
It's impossible to actually know either way
There are just to many people with agendas and willing to lie to push a narrative these days
And that goes for journalists, doctors, etc.... They have agendas also
@ecksmc It pays to be skeptical. But you can't completely discount every piece of information you hear. That's no way to live. In fact, it's probably impossible.
Everyone has to be careful in the information they consume. Practice media literacy. The truth won't mind if you're skeptical but mistruths will.
@danielbsmith yup agree its why I have said in past check who journalists actually are, what they stand for, their history if possible etc....
Try and figure out if their reporting is bias in anyway or if they have reasons to mislead people - most media bias checking sites only tell you the bias leaning for the media outlet not individual journalists - its up to us to dig in and figure that part out
I'm a skeptical muthafucka - trust is hard for me as is
@ecksmc
Sad, but true...
(sigh...)
