Youtube-dl is a very useful command-line tool that lets you download videos from YouTube and some other websites.

Using youtube-dl is not that complicated but I understand that using commands for such tasks is not everyone’s favorite way.

Not Comfortable Using youtube-dl in Terminal? Use These GUI Apps

@ecksmc Still not comfortable with the GUIs for youtube-dl? Try put.io. It's cheap and reliable and you can paste links to youtube videos for a quick download. It also handles torrents and has it's own secure cloud storage.

I generally despise promoting services through invite links, but you can get a free month out of this link: put.io/hi-friend/2tcdm13tm3bka

Then, if you like it, I get a free month, too ;) I'm good with it as it sticks it to 'The Man.' LOLZ

@quaalude 👍 always good to have choices :)

maybe someone else will use the URL you provided

i don't pay for things i can do for free 😜

@ecksmc I actually do not know if that link can be used more than once. I've only shared two other links with two friends, and as there are individual links per invite, I guess it is single-use. I've got three more if anyone wants one :)

@quaalude i would say it's a one use URL

i didn't click it so should be active still for anyone else reading this thread 👍
