names and ID's most, if not all, of these extensions are things you don't need as an extension in chrome

For sure. But people install dumb stuff they don't need all the time.

and if they dug about chrome settings they would notice you can do most of the things via the settings lol
example switching search engines all can be set up in chrome settings with a unique keyword you input in the address bar and tap "TAB"
