Google tests Tab Groups Collapse option in Chrome
how to enable it now and try it
Load chrome://flags/ in the web browser's address bar.
Search for Tab Groups to display all tab grouping experiments.
Enable "Tab Groups" and "Tab Groups Collapse".
Restart Google Chrome.
Right-click on any tab after the restart and select "add tab to group" to create a new group. Once done, left-click on the group header to collapse it or expand it again
@ecksmc
FYI, this works in Brave also. To get there, it's just:
brave://flags
@voltronic yeah "flags" URL can work in most chromium based browsers
even inputting chrome://flags it'll auto switch to *name of chromium browser*://flags with some browsers
but not all support flags think opera is one not 100% on that but since not used it for donkeys years
another good one chrome://URLs to really dig into stuff loads of chrome:// *goodies* behind that 😂😉
Although Google need to add "keep group forever" and a "always open this site in this group" features to make "group tabs" actual worth using
Imo
right now it's fucking pointless if we have to create groups, name them, colour code them, every time after we close chrome
