@holon42 me too because there's plenty of vacant shells in the aquarium plenty of food plenty of room plenty of sand so I'm not sure what happened or why and it lived alone... Here's the thing about that they are supposed to be colony creatures they love to interact with each other I had four but they continued to fight and kill off each other until I only had one left which lived for three more years on its own so that makes it even more strange

Oh yeah it appears that my hermit crab actually molted the other day but never crawled back into its shell thus died.
But I got two new ones yesterday
