Just spent 45 minutes in tornado shelters Don't even know if there's any damage outside but I guess there was a confirmed tornado north of us... I'm 7 mi from home I hope my cat's okay
@duglop Our power is flickering here in the Chi. burbs and my family and cats are in the basement, hoping we don't get hit! Haven't heard a train sound, so maybe we'll escape it! Glad you're safe anyway, and hope your cat is too. 😟🤞🤞

@duglop We're all ok, it seemed to lose some steam by the time it got to Naperville and then it just rained like crazy. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's house. I hope they can rebuild. At least they have their lives, which is most important! 😊
@Groversmom remember that derecho a few years ago - I got caught in it - was getting out of work saw the storm approaching, couldn't get back to the door in time - got launched.... then a tornado missed the same building but windshear tore off part of the roof... I think that tornado hit Naperville didn't it? Or close to it..

@Groversmom yes - people at work saw it happen and ran out to check - I was drenched and covered in mud - my 1st reaction was - ok who's got the video of my stunt lmao
@duglop 😂 That sounds like something I would have thought! I had an incident after work one winter night where I went for a skate and landed on my ass! Thankfully, all my coworkers were gone and we didn't have cameras installed outside yet, so no proof! And have a good day at work. 😆 👋
