@duglop the rhetoric has been raised to these levels before, during civil rights, civil war era?
I think one of the main reasons that there haven't been recent presidential assassination attempts is that since Clinton/Gore, they stopped "balancing" tickets. If you shoot the president, he/she will be succeeded by someone with the same plans, but more so.
#Trump hadn't chosen a VP yet.
