@duglop Reminder: Other countries are not the U.S. Typically they do not have anything approaching the breadth of our interpretation of the US constitution's First Amendment guarantee of free speech.

They have their own laws and takes on privacy. I'm not familiar with Quebec law, but this presumably is the law there. You can take the video, but you can't post it for public consumption. You can, however, provide it to the police.
