@duglop My high school choir days were... yikes... we graduated 25 years ago in June!
I think the arrangement of Charles Dickens' poem, These Things Shall Never Die was my favorite song we sang.
@tifroggie our Music director was big in to The Knack etc - but we actually sang patriotism songs and Barry Manilow ... in band we played a lot of sci-fi songs with electronic drums involved and in pop group, we sang some original songs by our director and some classic 50's, 60's & 70's
@duglop sounds like an eclectic mix! Must have been fun to be able to experiment.
@tifroggie sorry I forgot to mention in marching band we played a lot of songs from The phantom regiment and the caballaros (which seemed pretty fitting because our band's name was the Cuba Cubaleros {Cuba NY})
