I am a trifle upset about something that recently occurred in Rockford Illinois they took the flag down off the top of the news tower for whatever reason...
@DocJ2001 if you knew how naked it looks right now because I don't even use the building anymore The news paper was sold to a company in Wisconsin and the other half of the building is used by the local community college The News Tower doesn't even really get used...
@DocJ2001 Yes supposedly they remove the whole cupola to repair it or replace it somebody found some information out and tooted about it for me, thank you for that as well That's a cool picture

@duglop THe entire cupola was taken down ( flag was on top of it) for repairs. It will be back.
@Lucky188 yeah thank you for that, much appreciated ... I saw something else about it too a little bit ago as well - I'm not even originally from Rockford but been here 20 years...
I work about 5 miles out of the city so didn't get to see any of the removal and I live only a block and 1/2 from it... a lot of people said the same thing I did - what where when how & why (no one knew anything until after it happened)
