@duglop

Baking powder biscuits; I can't make them, but my sister can.

@ChelseaGirl429 it was and so simple to make - 1 of the very few pies I will eat :)
but her cooking talents didn't stop or start there - G & G were part German so we had a lot of German foods - sad to say I was not and am not a fan of many German foods - but Christmas time was a real treat with her cooking and dads (dad was a chef)...

@duglop one of my grandmothers was totally indifferent to us, the other actively hated us. Neither cooked for us.

@Cryspeg ouch sorry to hear that - my g&g on my moms side weren't my real gparents - mom was adopted and my dads mom died when I was about 1 year old or son :(

@duglop It’s ok, we got used to the grandparents at a young age. Mom and dad made sure we understood that we weren’t at fault. I’m so sorry about your grandmother.

@duglop One? My gramma's made all sorts of memorable things!

@CoyoteConscious um as did mine... PLENTY of them.... this is not MY meme...

@duglop Her date squares. The crust/crumb topping wasn't overly hard, and the filling ratio was spot on. The store bought versions don't even come close.
