Today, my entire department is going to a holiday lunch. With a few exceptions:
Today is also the annual day my supervisor calls out "sick" and doesn't attend the holiday lunch.
Today is also the day in which another co-worker says she has a cold on the morning of said holiday lunch. Every year.
Today is also the day that I am, unexpectedly, in charge 😳 because I refused to go to these things the minute they are being planned.
