Why does 30 degrees November feel like 60 degrees colder than 30 degrees on February?

@duglop It feels so cold now, because
1.We've had a warmer than usual Autumn
2.It's coming on relatively suddenly (not getting gradually colder in a consistent manner)

Also, it feels warm in February because (at least where i live) it's been so much colder, that any sizeable temp change (like 7 or more degrees) feels crazy warm. Plus by then the sunshine is increasing...we're mentally feeling the warmth because we're seeing the additional sunlight combined with it.

@Christmas_Snow thank you I was just being goofy I wasn't asking a serious question :D

@duglop I know, i just wanted to answer! I ask that question myself sometimes, because it always seems freezing at this time of year, but it's true that we're really just not used to it! By February we'll be walking around with our coats open, trying to hurry along the arrival of Spring. 🤭
