I saw this in the shop window downtown and it really made me smile...

@duglop I do think it's okay to say "no bigotry, though."

I think nothing of it to take off my shoes when that's the rule of someone's home. I think asking people to leave their bigotry outside is okay, and doesn't mean you're not welcoming people! : )

@AskTheDevil yes I was raised the same way to take your hat off inside the house to take your shoes off at the door and so much more

@duglop There's people who have explained that leaving shoes at the door can also be a symbolic ritual for leaving bad attitudes and bad spirit from being tracked in the house. : )
