I’m not sure if I’m alone, but I don’t think of Canada or as referring only to the last 156 years or the colonial history of the county, but rather to commemorate & reflect on the 10,000+ year history of the people living on this land, regardless of what they called it at the time.

Some great things to be proud of, some dark things to be ashamed of that we shouldn’t brush past, and so much more to improve & build upon, always. An ideal to strive towards, always.

@Eric_The_Great7 I don't know much about Canadian history but I felt what you just said because I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I turn around and say the same thing about American Independence Day it just doesn't have that same feeling anymore as it once did and I'm a veteran
