My sister knows everything there is about Star Trek but every time I ask, something else happens in her life and she gets distracted.

Like a dummy, I installed my Piehole but didn't set it up. Spent a while being disappointed that I was still seeing ads. Finally logged into it and set it up, then logged into my router to set the DNS to the Piehole and realized I didn't do that the first time. No wonder it didn't work 🤣

I also don't like how every set echoes and sounds empty.

My thoughts about Deep Space Nine:

Everybody stands WAY too close to each other. Like...if each character extended their lips, they'd be smooching everybody else. And that's weird. Back tf up.

I get it was probably because TVs were smaller and they had to get everybody in the shots but it's almost kinda creepy how close they get.

To pass time on my 12 hour overnight shift, I started watching Deep Space Nine (I got some thoughts) and started working on a secret project. Still applying for jobs all around the northeast, got a random video call tomorrow about a SIEM engineer position.

I didn't get any filters for my new coffee machine, but luckily it also has a K cup side so I can at least finally have some coffee. It's been a while since I had any and I think I'm cranky.

I got up, went out and bought a coffee machine, now I'm going back to bed before my shift starts.

It's a like a broader version of "I can't sleep so I'll just walk around my apartment for a bit."

Got woken up by a T-Mobile rep calling to see how I liked the service. I couldn't articulate why I didn't like the smart watch and wanted to get rid of it, I could barely say my name. He didn't understand and now I'm stuck with a watch I don't use. Hooray!

One time I went over to a friend's house to play guitar with him, he never heard me play before. I'm not the best, or all THAT good, but he gave me the single best complement I've ever received: "Man, you're a lot better than I thought you would be!"

Yesterday I was woken up by really loud, sudden thunder that sounded like an explosion, the shaking and jumping woke me up (being scared in your sleep is weird). Today it was a car alarm.
