Watched Oppenheimer and it was really well-made. I remember reading an article the said that every time there was an explosion on screen you saw Oppenheimer's naughty bits, leading me to believe there was a lot of both. There was one explosion on no dong being hung.

Okay, so, in my experience only, the fingers have been the most painful place to get tattoos. I would say this might've been a bad idea but it's too late now 😂🤣 when they heal I'm gonna have them colored, they're just outlines right now.

Did I just make the most perfect chicken tikka masala? Early reports are a "yes" but I'm still waiting on the rice to make an official judgement.

Even! spice stock is lighter, this is usually dark brown. I soaked cilantro, cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorn, and star anise
This gives the curries a little oomph.

Now the chicken is marinating. I put a little bit of food coloring in it to give it some pizzaz.

And here's the base after it cooked in the Instant Pot and then blended into a sauce. I usually burn the onions and it comes out dark brown, but this time I didn't burn them, now it's just brown from the spices.

Forgot to say, I'm making the curry base. I'll cook the actual curry after that.

First, I fried the onions until they were translucent, like so. Then I threw in a few spices and some water and now it's cooking in the Instant Pot. In the meantime, I'm making a spice stock on the stove and right now I'm just waiting for the water to boil.

Going home tomorrow. I love my mom and visiting her, but I'm still looking forward to being in my own space.
