Did you know there was a Woodstock 94? I had forgotten all about it because 99 was such a disaster. I almost went to both of those but since I was a teenager at the time my parents wouldn't let me.

I had friends that went to 94 and loved it, then went to 99 and they don't talk about it.

@dr_zooks I lived in NY when Woodstock 99 was going on, and my cousin was going to be in town, so we talked about going, but then we called them for info and were told "It's a 3 day commitment", and my question was "You mean we can't leave?", and the promoter said, "No, we will take you in in shuttles, and you can't leave".

That was the end of that conversation. I'm not going anywhere where I can't leave when I want to leave.

@Lulz4l1f3 that's a very stupid thing for something that's OUTSIDE. But then again, everything about 99 was stupid.

"Hey, this is supposed to be a festival for peace and music, let's invite a band who's top song at the time is called Break Stuff."

I saw a documentary about it and it was just a disaster from the start.

@dr_zooks @Lulz4l1f3 🎶 It’s just one of those days when ya don’t wanna wake up… 🎶

@Avalea @Lulz4l1f3 it was during that set the big brains passed out lighters to the crowd because they wanted a big audience thing. They didn't realize everybody there was mad af. 😂🤣

@dr_zooks @Lulz4l1f3 OMG the candles! Like WHY?!?! Immediate images of those meatheads setting the tower on fire comes to mind when I think of WS’99. 🤦🏼‍♀️
