A Christian petition against teaching Biblical lessons in Texas public schools has garnered thousands of signatures in the past two weeks. Faithful America, an organization of Christians supporting social justice causes while opposing "Christian nationalism," posted a petition on September 13 opposing a proposal from the Texas Education Agency for elementary school teachers to include the Bible in their state reading and language arts lessons
I think this is a huge step forward.

Good
@disk4mat Proud to have signed this petition to keep #religion out of #publicschools and maintain the separation of church and state.
@MikeBarbre @disk4mat excellent!! Iβm an evangelical but I donβt and I would never support the teaching of the Bible in public schools.

This petition gives me hope for the future of Xianity. I gave up on the chuech cos I was sick of all the prosteletising. You know you are insecure in your faith when you insist that everyone think & believe exactly as you do.
