This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Municipality of Jasper has issued a Wildfire alert.
There are multiple fires burning in Jasper National Park. An Evacuation Alert has been issued for the Town of Jasper and Jasper National Park. This is a preventative measure due to the number of fires. There is no immediate threat to the town of Jasper.
Area: This alert is in effect for everyone in the Town of Jasper and Jasper National Park.
Thousands of campers in the park too not many ways out. The route we go in has been closed from fires people are being told to go to BC
