Many people don't have options. They have to work. I would never put my child in the hands of my abusive family. Some people don't have family. Single parents don't have a partner to rely on. Many churches offer pre school and day care, but they charge for those services. Vance is completely out of touch.

@MorningMoon i'm middle-aged and my kids are in school. neither of my parents are retired. my MIL is semi-retired due to medical issues. all of my aunts & uncles live 2000 miles away. at the end of the day the GOP childcare plan is "women leave the work force."
@dietotaku Exactly. This idea they are pushing is a Stepford wife/king of the castle/biblical/franken-freak life that never existed and never will. We can't let them continue to bully and manipulate us.
