so do people just fundamentally not understand dog psychology? do they refuse to grasp that when a dog comes tearing down the hallway barking at their heels and they just ignore it and walk out the door, that dog thinks "STRANGER HAS FLED, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! GOOD JOB, ME!"? because I don't know how anyone can stand to be barked at all the time and never try to figure out how to make it stop.
